COVID-19 outbreak develops complicatedly but remains under control

VGP – Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People's Committee Chu Xuan Dung on January 30 confirmed four new cases of coronavirus infections in the city.

Deputy Director of the Ha Noi Health Department Hong Duc Hanh reported that the outbreak has evolved complicatedly in Ha Noi but is put under control at a meeting of the Ha Noi COVID-19 Prevention and Control Committee. 

He reported that four community infection cases were confirmed in the Capital from January 28 to 2:00 PM of January 30 including Patient 1591 (a woman at Times City, Vinh Tuy ward, Hai Ba Trung district), Patient 1654 (a 20-year-old man from Ho Chao Village, Hoang Hoa Tham Commune, Chi Linh City of Hai Duong Province); Patient 1694 (a 34-year-old male factory worker of Z153 – Technical Department, Ministry of Defense, Dong Anh District Dong Anh District); and Patient 1695 (a male factory worker of Z153 – Technical department Ministry of Defense, Dong Anh District). 

Over 9,800 returnees from Chi Linh city & Van Don

Since January 28, 9,430 local residents who came from Chi  Linh city of Hai Duong province (9,430) and Van Don international airport of Quang Ninh province (409) have been identified. So far, 3,400 samples for Covid-19 tests have been collected. 

Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People's Committee Chu Xuan Dung stressed the importance of serious complying with quarantine regulations and the "5K" message of the Ministry of Health, limiting mass gatherings, and conducting massive testing of returnees from Chi Linh City from January 1 and Van Don International Airport from January 5, and prompting disease prevention at medical facilities./.
