Capital to impose business hours for non-essential shops
VGP – The local authorities will build a specific framework on operational hours for non-essential business shops in a bid to prevent Covid-19 outbreak.

Especially, non-essential business shops would be ordered to open after 9:00 AM and free from closing time. The move aims to resolve traffic congestion in the morning and ensure safe distance to prevent Covid-19 outbreak.
Chairman of the Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung made the point on April 27 while chairing a meeting of the Steering Committee on Covid-19 Prevention and Control.
The city is crafting regulations on preventive measures after social distancing period.
The transport system in Ha Noi is extremely crowded, raising fears of disease infection and transmission especially while vehicles stop at traffic lights. It is difficult to maintain 1-meter distance among transporters.
Hence, the local authorities have planned to ask boutiques, cosmetics shops, and other non-essential business shops to open after 9:00 AM and free from closing time.
The order would be implememented by late December 31, 2020./.
