Capital promotes e-commerce transactions

VGP  Ha Noi has set a plan to strive for e-commerce transactions accounting for 9 % of the citys total retail sales of goods and services. The preset norm will increase 1% against the rate in 2018. The city is also determined to rank second or above in e-Business Index (EBI)

In addition, coverage rate of e-commerce buyers will account for 68% of Internet users, up 2% against 2018. Up to 85% of electricity, water, and telecom retailers and 25% of petrol stations will provide non-cash payment services. About 95% of enterprises will have websites on business information and operation. 

To fulfill the aforesaid goals, the Ha Noi municipal Peoples Committee will implement 14 key tasks including developing the traceability electronic information system on agro-forestry-fishery products; expanding management of wholesale markets,  e-commerce markets; supporting enterprises to boost IT applications; applying QR codes. 

In addition, the city will develop logistic infrastructure; transport network; and promote non-cash payments./.
