Capital prepares quarantine camps at hotels

VGP – Viet Nam would resume commercial flights after September 15, hence, the city would prepare more isolation areas at hotels to ensure safety and disease control.

A representative from the Ha Noi Tourism Department reported that the Department has cooperated with the Department of Health to investigate some hotels in the city.
As of September 14, eight hotels were designated as quarantine areas for foreign experts and skilled laborers.
In addition, other five hotels have registered to join the list.
The city prepared nearly 1,500 hotel rooms for foreigners and overseas Vietnamese.
According to Deputy Chairman of the Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee Ngo Van Quy, the city is expected to daily receive nearly 2,000 people coming from other countries. The number will touch 4,000 each day. Hence, the number of quarantine rooms is modest in comparison with the demand of at least 5,000 rooms./.
