Capital looks to welcome 6.6 million of foreign guests
VGP – The Ha Noi Tourism Department has recently set a plan to greet 28.58 million tourists to the capital city, including 6.66 million international guests, representing a year-on-year surge of 9.8%.

Deputy Director of the Ha Noi Tourism Department Nguyen Anh Dung made the announcement on December 11 at a meeting on tourism promotion development in 2018.
Mr. Dung revealed that in 2018, the city welcomed about 26.04 million guests, up 9.3% against 2017, including 5.74 million of international guests. The city pocketed VND 75 trillion of tourism revenue, up 11.7% against 2017.
Thanks to the achievements, tourism served economic transformation in the city.
The Deputy Director reported that foreign tourists from nearly 190 countries and territories travelled to Viet Nam, of whom 60% came from Asia; 24% from Europe; and 9% from the Americas.
In 2019, the Department targets to earn VND 84 trillion of tourism revenue, up 11.8% against 2018./.
