Capital lifts social distancing in public transport since March 8

VGP – The authorities of Ha Noi decided to lift social distancing rules in public transport since March 8, according to the municipal Department of Transport.

Transport companies, vehicle owners and operators must require drivers, service staff and passengers to properly wear face masks.

Hand sanitizer solution (with at least 60% of alcohol content) must be provided in vehicles.  

Passengers are encouraged to install Bluezone applications and make medical declarations with QR codes in accordance with regulations.

So far, the capital has gone 20 consecutive days without new Covid-19 infections. 

In the coming days, the capital city will relax its social distancing measures to help resume normal activities, but will continuously control, inspect and strictly handle violations of pandemic preventive measures.

Earlier, restaurants in Ha Noi were permitted to re-open under certain requirements as from 0:00 on March 2. Learners from kindergarten to high school levels came back to school from March 2. Colleges and universities were reopened from March 8./.
