Capital eyes 200 scientific and technological companies by 2025

Under the plan, the city targets to formulate and nurture 200 scientific and technological enterprises by 2025. 

To fulfill the preset goal, the local authorities will research and build a database on scientific and technological enterprises; support consulting organizations in favor of scientific and technological enterprises; back them to raise administration and trade capacity; help them master new technologies. 

In addition, the city will assist scientific and technological enterprises which received certificates in perfecting new and competitive products in the market. 

Earlier, the Ministry of Science and Technology reported that as of August 2019, Viet Nam was home to 3,000 scientific and technological enterprises of which 468 received certificates; 36 got high-tech ones. Over 800 obtained exclusive protection certificates of invention. Over 1,400 software enterprises operated in the IT sector. More than 400 enterprises located in high-tech and high-tech farming zones./.
