Capital continues to close schools until April 5
VGP – Chairman of the Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung has decided to prolong school closure by late April 5 as coronavirus is wreaking havoc.

Chairman Chung made the announcement on March 18 at a meeting of the local Steering Committee on COVID-19 Prevention and Control.
Accordingly, learners from kindergarten to high school will leave schools until April 5 to prevent COVID-19 outbreaks.
Hence, about 2 million pupils in Ha Noi will have a long spring beak due to COVID-19 pandemic.
As of late March 18, Viet Nam confirmed eight new coronavirus cases – three foreigners and five Vietnamese including a 11-year-old boy – bringing the national Covid-19 total to 76 of which 60 are active. The previous 16 patients have been discharged from hospitals.
