VGP – The local authorities of Ha Noi have succeeded in building 30 brand names for trade villages.
Since 2016, the city has taken various measures to encourage trade village development and provide expenditures for 30 trade villages to build brand names.
About 34 enterprises got credits to renovate modern equipments.
Each year, the city held training courses to educate vocational training and consult handicraft product designs. In addition, 15 handicraft expos were yearly held. Two exhibitions in response to One village one product movement (OVOP) were organized with 2,642 booths and over 1,000 enterprises. Especially, these fairs attracted over 2,000 importers from 30 foreign countries and territories.
The city also backed 480 production sites and artists to join foreign expos.
To facilitate handicraft product display and introduction, a 600m2 exhibition room was put into operation at No. 167 Quang Trung Street, Ha Dong District. The room introduced over 1,000 handicraft products.
The Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs worked with district offices and vocational training centers to yearly train about 24,000 laborers.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development provided training courses for 2,000 laborers on rural trades.
Ha Noi is home to more than 1,300 craft villages, more than 300 of which have been recognized as traditional ones./.
