Book fair marks Ha Noi’s 65th Liberation Day held
VGP - The Ha N oi Book Festival 2019 is being held at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Ha Noi to mark the 65th anniversary of the capital’s Liberation Day (October 10).

The event has the theme “Ha Noi- The City for Peace” with book launches and workshops, among other activities.
The five-day festival features talkshows with writers, book discussions, musical performances, and a seminar on publishing trends in the ASEAN region, and others.
The fourth holding of the fair drew the participation of domestic publishing houses and book distributors with around 200 booths from domestic and foreign publishers and book distributors.
In addition, it welcomed some 14 publishing houses and associations from Myanmar, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, and the Southeast Asia Publishing Association as well as representatives from embassies in Ha Noi.
For the first time, the fair also features a culinary space for introducing and serving Hanoi’s traditional and street cuisines.
The event runs until October 6./.
