Bangkok Airways opens first Ha Noi-Chiang Mai air route

VGP - Bangkok Airways will launch the first direct flight from Ha N oi to Chiang Mai and vice versa starting from March 25, 2018 onwards.

Following the launch of Bangkok-Da Nang and Bangkok-Phu Quoc direct flights, it is the first airline to implement the Hanoi-Chiang Mai direct route with flights operated by70 seater ATR 72-500/600aircraft.

Bangkok Airways offers daily flight with 70 seaterATR72-500/600. The outbound flight PG995 will depart from Chiang Mai International Airport at 09.55hrs and arrive in Ha Noi (Noi Bai International Airport) at 12.00hrs. The inbound flight PG996 will depart from Hanoi (Noi Bai International Airport) at 12.45hrs and arrive in Chiang Mai International Airport at 14.50hrs. 

Bangkok Airways’ Vice President Varong IsrasenaNa Ayudhya said this is part of the airline’s efforts to satisfy the increasing travel demand to Ha Noi – one of the fastest growing travel hubs in Southeast Asia and Chiang Mai – an exotic cultural and historical gem in northern Thailand.

The newly-opened route will be a great option for the people of the dynamic and populous capital as well as all global citizens who want to explore another culturally stunning destination after Ha Noi, only two inflight hours without transfer, Varong added.
