Ao dai Festival 2016 to be held in October
VGP - A festival under the theme “Quintessence of Viet Nam’s Ao Dai 2016” will take place at Ha Noi's Thang Long Imperial Citadel from October 14 – 16.
The festival will include exhibitions, art and cultural activities featuring the beauty of the Ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress).
Within the framework of the festival, a space will be specifically dedicated to displaying images and documents about the history of Ao dai.
Visitors can enjoy Ha Noi’s signature cuisines and cyclo and motorbike parades and have their own ao dai tailored at the event.
The event will consist of decorations of lights made of conical hats, set up both inside and outside the festival venue, creating a lively and intimate atmosphere for the visitors.
The festival wil be a good chance for fashion and tourism companies to exchange experience and extend their collaboration with both domestic and foreign counterparts.
