About 91 new FDI projects get licenses

In October, two projects got additional capital of US$ 69 million. Foreign investors spent US$ 104 million to buy shares. 

As of October 24, total registered  capital of newly-established and expanded FDI projects valued US$ 1.5 billion including 722 new FDI projects worth US$ 971 million and 150 expanded others with US$ 578 million. 

In the first ten months, foreign investors bought US$ 5.3 billion of shares. The number of dissolved and temporally suspended projects was 27. 

Out of 59 provinces and cities, Ha Noi absorbed the biggest amount of FDI with US$ 6.15 billion, accounting for 23.5% of total investment, meeting 80% of the preset goal. In 2019, the city aims to attract over US$ 7.5 billion of FDI./.
