A boost for local business development

VGP – The Ha Noi municipal People ’ s Committee has passed a plan on business development with a view to achieving the goal of 200,000 newly-established enterprises in the 2016-2020 period.

The move also aims to implement the Governments Resolution 35/NQ-CP on supporting and developing enterprises through 2020.

Mr. Nguyen The Manh, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Taxation and Director of the Ha Noi Taxation Department was quoted as saying that the Ha Noi Taxation Department is drafting a project on supporting business start-up and SMEs in the 2017-2020 period.

The project targets to timely provide legal aid and response on policies, initial tax procedures, supportive services for newly-founded enterprises; and support for converted enterprises so that household businesses will be able to understand benefits.  

Tax agencies will collect information on business obstacles on policies as well as tax procedures of newly-established firms.

Steps on business registration procedures, legal dossiers, guidelines on tax registration, issuance of invoices, business administration, tax balance-sheet will be composed, issued, and posted at website: http://hanoi.gdt.gov.vn.  

The sector will open a new column which will support newly-founded firms at the website.  

In addition, tax agencies will hold dialogues with household businesses which will be converted into businesses; work with other departments, agencies including the Department on Investment and Planning, the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Association on SMEs, the Ha Noi Business Association, the Viet Nam Tax Consultation Association to support household businesses.

The local tax agencies will also open a hotline to support, provide information, respond tax difficulties for payers./.
