Global Volunteering Day 2018 held in Ha Noi

VGP -  Domestic and international youngsters and volunteers, as well as representatives from international organizations and local community clubs have joined in the 2018 Global Volunteering Day (GVD)  in Ha Noi.

GVD is annually organized by the Volunteers for Peace Club – a club operating under the management of a non-government organization called Volunteers for Peace Viet Nam (VPV).

With the slogan of “Inequality: In or Out?” VPV hopes to help the youngsters understand about international volunteering and their responsibilities in social issues as well as fill in the gap among different cultures or religions.

GVD coupled with the enthusiasm of the youth will create a multicultural environment with a variety of cuisine.

The event was also an opportunity for youngsters to communicate, share valuable experiences in volunteering and seek the chances of doing volunteer in Viet Nam and other countries.

According to the organizers, the entire revenue collected at the 2018 Global Volunteering Day will be used for future community activities by the VPV Club.

Hosted by the NGO Volunteers for Peace Viet Nam (VPV) Club, in coordination with the Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and the Embassy of Ireland in Viet Nam.
