VGP – Sixteen of 21 provinces have jointed the electronic information traceability system using QR codes for food and agricultural products in Ha Noi, the Ha Noi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development reported.
The Department worked with the Integration and Development Center for Enterprises (IDE) under the Viet Nam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises built the system for agro-forestry-fishery products in Ha Noi, which is at the website check.gov.vn.
So far, management accounts of the system have been given to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Health, 30 districts, communes. In addition, two management modules were granted to two agricultural markets.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development also provided administrative accounts for 2,527 collectives, agro-forestry-fishery shops. QR codes were given to 495 enterprises with over 5,900 products.
So far, 600 products from 30 provinces and cities have been given QR codes. Up to 16 out of 21 provinces have joined the system.
Noticeably, the Department piloted the establishment of five points where agro-forestry-fishery traceability system is used./.
