12th Japanese Film Festival on horizon

VGP - The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Viet Nam will hold the 12th Japanese film festival in Ha Noi from December 25 – 31, 2020.

In response to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide, the Japanese Film Festival 2020 overseas will be held partly online. 

In Viet Nam, the festival will be organized in two ways: JFF Real (Japanese film screenings at cinema) and JFF Online (Japanese film screenings online). 

14 Japanese films of different genres such as comedy, romance, adaptation, detective, action and animation that were produced by famous Japanese studios will be screened with Vietnamese and English subtitles during the festival.

Some of the films that will be introduced to the Vietnamese audience include renown movies among Japanese public such as “Not quite dead yet”, “One night” and “Stolen identity” alongside with two cartoons including “Hey, Love!” and “Braided hair.

The film screenings will take place at the National Cinema Center (87 Lang Ha street, Ba Dinh district, Ha Noi)./.
